Hello PicCollage Community!
If you’re using a Pixel device and received a pop-up message in the app or found that you can’t save collages, this issue is caused by a change in Google’s latest Android OS update (Android 16).
We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience and are here to help you get back to creating smoothly.
Updating your device to the latest available Android version should resolve the problem.
Before You Update
System updates can be large and may take some time. Before starting the update, make sure:
Your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network
Your battery is charged to at least 75%
Update Your Device
Open Settings.
Tap System → Software updates (or System update on some Pixel models).
Check your update status.
Follow the instructions to install the latest version.
If you see an update alert on your device, just tap the notification and select Update to start the process.
Tips & Things to Know
Pixel devices may label updates as “Software updates” or “System update.”
After an update, it’s normal for your battery to drain faster temporarily while your phone optimizes the new software.
Older devices may not support the newest Android version.
