Is PicCollage starting to take up more space on your phone than you'd like? Clear your cache to free up storage right from inside the app — and don't worry, none of your favorite collages will be touched!
How to clear your cache and free up storage:
- Tap the hamburger menu in the top left of the Home screen.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Clear Cache. You'll see your current cache size right next to it (e.g. "175.2 MB").
- In the popup, tap Clear to confirm.
- That's it — your cache size resets to 0 MB!
What gets cleared
Clearing the cache only removes temporary files that PicCollage builds up as you create, like thumbnail previews and other behind-the-scenes processing files. Your collages, stickers, fonts, and downloaded content are completely safe — none of that will be affected.
Still using a lot of storage?
If your cache was already small, or your phone still shows PicCollage taking up a lot of storage after clearing it, the space is likely being used by your saved collages or downloaded sticker and font bundles. Those aren't part of the cache, so clearing it won't move them.
To free up more device storage, you can back up your favorite collages to PicCollage Cloud and then remove them from your device — your creations stay safe in the Cloud and your phone gets some breathing room. See: Back Up: Free Up Device Storage for the steps.
