Hello PicCollage Community!
We've simplified My Collages — your saved collages from the Device tab, Cloud tab, or both now appear together in one unified list — nothing was moved or deleted, they just live in one place now. We'll walk you through what each backup status means below.
See your collages and their status
- Tap My Collages in the bottom left corner of the Home screen.
- Every collage appears in a single list, with a status label at the bottom of each one.
What each status means
- Device — Saved on this device only, not backed up. If you lose your device, switch phones, or reinstall the app, this collage could be lost.
- Device & Cloud — Saved on your device and synced to PicCollage Cloud. Any edits update both copies automatically, so they always match.
- Cloud — Lives in PicCollage Cloud only. The local copy has been removed to free up space, but you can still edit it and access it from any device you're logged in to. Cloud collages stay safe even if something happens to your device.
- Backing Up — The collage is uploading to PicCollage Cloud. Once it finishes, the status updates to Device & Cloud.
- Downloading — The collage is downloading to your device for editing. Once it's there, the status updates to Device & Cloud.
- Outdated — Recent changes to this collage couldn't sync to PicCollage Cloud. The thumbnail you see is the latest version that was successfully saved.
- Error — The collage couldn't be backed up or updated right now. Try again in a moment.
Filter by status
Tap the filter icon at the top right of My Collages to view your collages by status — All Collages, Device & Cloud, Cloud Only, or Device Only. Handy for finding the collages that still need to be backed up.
What you can do with each collage
Tap ••• on any collage to see the actions available for its current status:
- Device → Back Up to Cloud, Edit, Duplicate, Delete
- Device & Cloud → Remove from Device, Edit, Duplicate, Delete
- Cloud → Edit, Delete
iOS:
Android:
Two of these are worth a closer look:
- Remove from Device keeps your collage safe in PicCollage Cloud while freeing up storage on your phone.
- Delete removes the collage from everywhere — your device and the cloud — and can't be undone.
Your backup summary, at a glance
The profile card at the top of My Collages shows how many of your collages are backed up and when your last backup happened — a quick way to confirm everything's safe.
Please note that at this time, collages with video elements cannot be backed up. If you back up a collage with a video, the video will be saved as an image.
